LH speculation, semiconductor supply shortage,
These two incidents seem to be separate, but both should be viewed in the same context.
This is because they are all related to big data.
If big data had been properly applied and predicted, this could have been prevented.
Although it is said that the infrastructure of big data is in place, human complacency and greed are preventing the use of big data.
The application and utilization of big data increases transparency across businesses, organizations, and national societies. Still, the lack of KPIs on organizational selfishness and the introduction and utilization of big data makes this infrastructure useless.
When looking at the introduction of big data by public institutions, KPIs of organizations and members are not defined anywhere. This means that we will just introduce it and not use it. What the right hand has done is not to let the left hand know about the big data in the public sector.
The lack of semiconductor supply is also said to be a fandom caused by COVID-19, but it can be seen as an example of the lack of visibility of the global supply chain in the automobile industry. Each automobile company operates a big data system with a huge budget each year, but it has failed to utilize this one properly and is in a supply crisis.
The introduction of big data should be a priority not to focus on solutions, but to set goals for the organization's use of big data, thereby increasing the utilization of KPIs by members.
However, big data is always finished with the introduction of computer-oriented solutions and devices, and no performance measurement has been made for utilization.
We have to keep an eye on these two events.
